Christian Edlagan is the Senior Manager of Academic Engagement at the Washington Center for Equitable Growth. He previously served as the Senior Events and Conferences Manager. Prior to joining Equitable Growth, he organized international conferences at the National Endowment for Democracy (NED). He previously provided outreach and digital communications support for various non-profits and projects, including Groundswell’s Clean Energy program, the United Nations Free & Equal campaign, and AARP NY. A proud Filipino New Yorker, Christian serves on the Board of Trustees of the National Association of Asian American Professionals, DC Chapter (NAAAP-DC) and was recently Chair of the Board of Directors of the Conference on Asian Pacific American Leadership (CAPAL), focused on improving public service leadership opportunities for under-represented people of color. He graduated from Loyola University New Orleans with a bachelor’s in political science, and has worked and studied in Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, and Estonia.
