Ph.D. Candidate in Economics
Umberto Muratori is a Ph.D. candidate in economics at Georgetown University with interests in macroeconomics and firm dynamics. He is a former dissertation scholar at the Washington Center for Equitable Growth. Prior to coming to Georgetown University, he worked in the research department at the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington, D.C. He holds an M.A. in quantitative economics from Bonn University in Germany. His current research explores the drivers of the rise in mark-ups in the U.S. economy.
