Competition Antitrust Enforcement
Topic Antitrust Enforcement

U.S. antitrust laws are important tools to preserve competitive markets and are enforced by the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, the Federal Trade Commission, the States Attorneys General, and private plaintiffs. The effectiveness of antitrust enforcement depends on how courts interpret the law, the enforcement decisions, and the resources enforcers have. Equitable Growth believes competition depends on understanding what is working and not working in all of those areas.
