Tim Wu serves as the special assistant to the president for technology and competition policy on the National Economic Council. Additionally, he is the Julius Silver Professor of Law, Science, and Tim Wu serves as the special assistant to the president for technology and competition policy on the National Economic Council. Additionally, he is the Julius Silver Professor of Law, Science, and Technology at Columbia Law School, a position for which he is currently on leave while serving in the federal government. He holds a B.sc. from McGill University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
