Jonathon Hazell is a Ph.D. candidate in economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a macroeconomist who is interested in studying the causes and consequences of unemployment. He did his undergraduate degree at Cambridge University in economics. His current research focuses on measuring wage rigidity and understanding whether it can rationalize large fluctuations in unemployment, especially during recessions.
