Andrew Elrod is a Ph.D. student in the Department of History at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where his research focuses on unions and wages. Elrod is interested in the history of capitalism, particularly American corporatism and its abandonment with the internationalization of business in the 1960s. He has worked as an intern at and contributor to Dissent magazine, and his writing has also appeared in The Nation, Jacobin, and Al Jazeera America.
