Gabriel L. Matthews was Equitable Growth's Grants & Finance Assistant. Prior to joining the Center, he was a Program Associate at the Roosevelt Institute and co-Chair of their Diversity & Inclusion Committee. During his time at Roosevelt, Gabriel maintained operations and systems management, consulted with the executive team on best practices for diversity and inclusion and served as research assistant on work specifically focused on the intersections of economics, race and gender. Gabriel graduated from Brooklyn College and received a B.A. in Political Science with a concentration on Philosophy.
