Krista Ruffini is a Ph.D. candidate at the Goldman School of Public Policy at the University of California, Berkeley. Her research uses tools from labor and public economics to examine how education and health interventions affect inequality and the well-being of vulnerable populations. Prior to her doctoral studies, Ruffini analyzed labor, education, and tax policies at the Center for Budget and Policy Priorities and the White House Council of Economic Advisers. She holds a B.A. in economics, international relations, and political science from Boston University; an M.P.A. from the London School of Economics; and an M.A. in economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
