Andrew Garin is an assistant professor of economics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Previously, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the National Bureau of Economic Research. His fields of research are labor and public economics. His research uses administrative data to understand past and present changes in labor market and their implications for public policy. He received his Ph.D. from Harvard University in 2018.
