About This Event
The Washington Center for Equitable Growth will host Roy Van der Weide, an economist on the Poverty and Inequality Research team within the Development Research Group of the World Bank, for a seminar on how inequality can be both good and bad for growth, depending on different measures and outcomes. The seminar will take place on January 18, 2017 from 12:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
This event will be the latest installment of our monthly academic seminar series, which aims to elevate important new research on issues related to whether and how economic inequality impacts economic growth. It will be hosted at our offices in Washington, DC.
