Ph.D. Candidate in Economics
Miguel Acosta is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Economics at Columbia University. Prior to starting his graduate studies, he was a research assistant at the Federal Reserve Board. His research interests include monetary economics and empirical macroeconomics. His senior thesis on monetary policy transparency received the Stanford University Firestone Medal for Excellence in Undergraduate Research, and a “revise and resubmit” from the Journal of Monetary Economics.
