Ernie Tedeschi is a nonresident senior fellow at the Budget Lab at Yale, having previously been the Director of Economics. Prior, he was the chief economist at the White House Council of Economic Advisers until March 2024. Before CEA, he was managing director and head of fiscal analysis at Evercore ISI, a macro advisory firm. He was also previously an economist at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Tedeschi holds a B.A in public policy and economics from Stanford University and an M.P.P. from the University of California, Berkeley.
