
Kreg Steven Brown is the director of economic mobility policy at the Washington Center for Equitable Growth. Previously, he was an associate director and senior researcher at the Urban Institute, where his research and policy advising focused on upward mobility, wealth and financial well-being, and racial equity. Brown received his B.A. in sociology from Princeton University. He also holds a M.A. in sociology from Harvard University, where he was a doctoral student fellow in the Multidisciplinary Program in Inequality and Social Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
