Jonathan B. Tucker is the development manager at the Washington Center for Equitable Growth. They bring more than a decade’s experience in nonprofit fundraising, management, communications, and program development, alongside a deep passion for arts, education, social justice, and youth empowerment. In addition to their grant writing and development expertise, Tucker previously organized and coached the DC Youth Poetry Slam Team with nonprofit Split This Rock and ran the Azania to DC international arts exchange program between the District of Columbia and South Africa. Tucker graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland, College Park with two B.A. degrees—one in government and politics and one with honors in sociology—and was selected as the commencement speaker for the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences.
