Dinetta Parrott joined Equitable Growth in December 2017 as the Director of Development. Previously, Ms. Parrott served as Development Officer with the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health (FNIH) where she helped establish multi-million dollar partnerships, consortium and sponsorship for biomedical research. There, she secured private, public and non-profit/patient advocacy support for Alzheimer’s disease, oncology, neuroscience, metabolic disorders, genomics, inflammation/immunology and vaccines.
Ms. Parrott has over a decade of fundraising experience developing, building and implementing fundraising strategies with national and international partners. Prior to joining FNIH Ms. Parrott worked as the Grants Manager for the American Forest Foundation (AFF). In that role, she was responsible for working with corporations, conservation foundations and government agencies to find common ground to enhance AFF’s funding and mission of conservation and environmental education. Ms. Parrott holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Potomac College. She is an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
